Wave of Feeels
La vie moderne apparaît comme une gigantesque métaphore de la vague. Les catastrophes inéluctables à venir fondent les angoisses d’un monde qui marche sur une crête, paradoxalement submergé par les événements, et profondément attiré par le vide. Au pied de cette immense vague, les humains, submergés par les rêves, les peurs, les émotions. Ils la voient s’approcher, s’enrouler, se briser, ils tombent, se relèvent. Chaque silhouette est pensée comme une émotion, éventuellement ressentie dans cet espace temporel de tension entre deux états, quand tout ne tient qu’à un fil et peut basculer à tout moment dans l’obscurité ou la lumière. Les vêtements sont pensés pour proposer un manifeste de survie dans le monde moderne en se concentrant sur la protection physique et émotionnelle.
Modern life appears as a gigantic metaphor of the wave. The inescapable catastrophes to come melt the anxieties of a world that walks on a crest, paradoxically submerged by events, and deeply attracted by the void. At the foot of this immense wave, humans, submerged by dreams, fears, emotions. They see it approaching, winding up, breaking, they fall, get up again. Each silhouette is thought of as an emotion, possibly felt in this temporal space of tension between two states, when everything hangs by a thread and can topple at any moment into darkness or light. The clothes are thought to propose a manifesto of survival in the modern world by focusing on physical and emotional protection.
