Né à Gênes, ville portuaire, j’ai grandi avec « un pied dans l’eau » : le vêtement marin fonctionnel, uniforme et utilitaire, a façonné mon regard. En parallèle, ma famille maternelle m’a plongé dans une bourgeoisie italienne attachée à la transmission et à la conservation des vêtements, nourrie par la mode élégante et caractérielle des années 70 aux années 2000.
« La pelle che scotta » est une collection de prêt-à-porter masculin, qui s’inspire de la mode italienne, chic et sophistiquée, des années 70 aux années 2000, en relation avec le vestiaire fonctionnel des marins.
Born in Genoa, a port city, I grew up with “one foot in the water”: functional, uniform and utilitarian maritime clothing shaped my perspective. At the same time, my maternal family introduced me to the world of the Italian bourgeoisie, with its attachment to the transmission and preservation of garments, shaped by the elegant and distinctive fashion of the 1970s through the early 2000s.
La pelle che scotta is a menswear ready-to-wear collection inspired by the chic and sophisticated Italian fashion of the 1970s through the early 2000s, brought into dialogue with the functional wardrobe of sailors.
