Straycore
Straycore naît de l’errance urbaine et de la pratique de la dérive. Depuis 2022, Zakarie Boubekeur constitue une archive d’images prises au fil de marches sans destination dans différentes villes. Cette matière nourrit un vestiaire où se rencontrent posture, fonction et observation du paysage urbain.
Entre culture populaire et figures croisées dans la rue, les silhouettes traduisent une manière de regarder la ville en mouvement et de s’en imprégner progressivement.
Le projet fait de cette position d’observateur mobile une identité à part entière, jusqu’à la figure symbolique du chien errant.
Straycore emerges from urban wandering and the practice of drifting. Since 2022, Zakarie Boubekeur has built an archive of images gathered during walks without a destination in different cities. This material informs a wardrobe where posture, function and observation of the urban landscape meet.
Between popular culture and figures encountered in the street, the silhouettes translate a way of looking at the city in motion and gradually absorbing it.
The project turns this position of mobile observer into an identity of its own, culminating in the symbolic figure of the stray dog.
