Zwart
“Zwart” est une collection mixte qui s’articule autour d’un dialogue entre féminité et masculinité. Elle s’inspire de deux univers de mode typiques et stéréotypés de genre; la mode masculine classique et la lingerie. Guidé par un intérêt conceptuel, technique et esthétique entre ces deux univers, elle mélange l’attitude stricte et sérieuse, la rigueur et le minimalisme du “tailoring“ à l’esthétique graphique, les matières et transparences de la lingerie. Bien qu’opposés dans leurs symboliques, ces deux vestiaires cherchent à se rencontrer à travers l’exploration de la couleur noire, unique couleur de ce travail.
“Zwart” is a mixed collection that revolves around a dialogue between femininity and masculinity. It is inspired by two typical and stereotypical gender fashion worlds; classic men’s fashion and lingerie. Guided by a conceptual, technical and aesthetic interest between these two universes, she mixes the strict and serious attitude, the rigor and the minimalism of the “tailoring” with the graphic aesthetics, the materials and the transparencies of the lingerie. Although opposed in their symbolism, these two wardrobes seek to meet through the exploration of the color black, the only color of this work.
