Muddy Sea
Muddy Sea traverse les paysages qui ont façonné Tanguy Mélinand : leurs couleurs, leurs textures, leur atmosphère et les souvenirs qui leur sont liés. Une palette pastel accompagne des silhouettes inspirées du workwear et un travail de développement textile.
La collection rend hommage à la Bretagne, à ses habitant·e·s, aux ami·e·s et aux paysages de l’adolescence. Plus qu’une reconstitution, elle traduit la manière dont un territoire continue d’habiter la mémoire et de transformer le regard. Le projet raconte ainsi le passage du temps à travers une relation intime au lieu, entre nostalgie, liberté et gratitude.
Muddy Sea moves through the landscapes that shaped Tanguy Mélinand: their colours, textures, atmosphere and the memories attached to them. A pastel palette accompanies workwear-inspired silhouettes and textile development.
The collection pays tribute to Brittany, its inhabitants, friends and the landscapes of adolescence. Rather than reconstructing
them, it translates the way a place continues to inhabit memory and transform perception. The project tells the passage of time through an intimate relationship with place, moving between nostalgia, freedom and gratitude.
