I remember sitting next to you as a child every Wednesday afternoon after eating an apricot pie. We used to read and look at books. We were leafing through yet another book on architecture when the photo of this house caught my eye. It was Frank Lloyd Wright’s House on the Waterfall. You must have explained to me how it was built, drawing me a sketch on a squared pad. Today, I only remember that simple memory of being next to you and seeing that house that made me understand your passion for architecture. After all these years of looking at all kinds of buildings, I understood where my love for this art came from. It was this house, the power it has, with its defined lines, the water and nature, the symbiosis is more than perfect. Evoking these childhood memories and the architectural principles of Lloyd Wright, I built the universe of my collection between horizontal lines, shades of colours and the integration of nature in my silhouettes. I anchored the human body in oversized garments to recreate the feeling of a child in adult clothing.
