“A new day in my room. Lying on my bed, my stomach in knots at the idea of existing, I hardly go out anymore. Except for the balcony. I mean, can we really consider this space as a kind of door to the outside? Well, I admit that sometimes it’s not enough for me. Despite the fact that I languish in this amazing comfort, the sight of yet another faded tapestry makes me wince. So I put on my best relics and take my most faithful companion out to face the outside world. My not-so-glorious interior would confuse some, but it is time to indulge my legufrulabelophilia.” Through this collection, I sought to explore the translation of feelings through clothing. I went back to old diaries illustrating my coming of age. Between illusions and disillusions, sorrow and joy, I associated anecdotal moments with buried feelings through imagination based on inner life and the desire to return to childhood. Working in an upcycling approach, I found objects that influence the silhouette of the clothes. From kitsch to trivial, I drew my inspiration directly from the wardrobe, furniture and interior decoration of the lower classes.
