Pour cette collection, je me suis questionnée sur le vêtement et le regard qu’on lui portait dans notre société actuelle. Pour moi, une uniformisation des styles s’est installée suite à la vente en masse. Avec la fast fashion, la consommation dans le monde de la mode est très élevée et je me suis plus particulièrement intéressée aux photos d’ influenceurs qui montrent leur «outfit of the day» sur les réseaux/internet. J’ai procéder par des collages entre ces di!érentes photos afin de créer des silhouettes avec des associations inattendues entre volumes, matières et coupes. Chaque pièce de la collection est dérivée d’un basique de la fast fashion, que j’ai modifié en m’inspirant de ces collages que j’appelle «cadavres exquis». Grâce à ce système, j’ai pu créer une collection qui avait pour but de rapporter un attachement au vêtement à travers son originalité et son authenticité.
For this collection, I asked myself questions about clothing and the way we look at it in today’s society. In my opinion, mass-marketing has led to a standardization of styles. With fast fashion, consumption in the fashion world has skyrocketed, and I was particularly interested in photos of influencers showing off their “outfit of the day” on networks/internet. I proceeded by collaging these different photos to create silhouettes with unexpected associations between volumes, materials and cuts. Each piece in the collection is derived from a fast-fashion basic, which I modified drawing inspiration from the collages I call “exquisite cadavers”. Thanks to this system, I was able to create a collection aimed at bringing back an attachment to the garment through its originality and authenticity
